Is now a good time to sell a Coin Collection? I’m 19, have been Collecting since I was 15?
My collection is worth about $16,000 right now. I have some gold, a type set, Proof Sets, Bullion, Ancient Coins.
My Dad is a numismatist. He sold his original collection when he was 20 to buy a car. He has regretted it since then-47 years. My son has a small collection that we won’t let his sell; he’s 14. Unless you need the money for something serious like medical care or something that will last much longer than a car like a roof over your head don’t sell.
